Description
Moor Close is a Grade II-listed house built in 1865, with grounds and formal gardens suitable for a variety of events and activities. It is one of our Halls of Residence and also houses the College’s Cafeteria and the Moor Close Conference Suites, a multi-purpose event venue which was refurbished in 2019.
The Suites are suitable for hosting a variety of events such as:
- Weddings
- Small conferences
- Workshops
- Receptions and other celebrations
- Team-building and away days
The venue includes several rooms, including:
- The Oak Lounge (capacity up to 40, cocktail-style)
- The Green Lounge (capacity up to 60, cocktail-style)
- The Blue Room (capacity up to 40, cocktail-style)
- The Chapel (capacity up to 90, theatre or cocktail-style)
When used in combination, these venues can accommodate up to 150 attendees.
